"This is one of the pricy one I’ve stayed in ChaiYi. It was nice and not too hard to park. We walked to the night market which is about 15 minutes. The best find from staying there was the message place next door. It was great and the price was friendly. It was very busy so we went there around 1am. It was worth it though. "

"I was quite happy with the stay. The room had a slightly damp smell but it was clean. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options. However, my major complaint was that I wrote to the hotel after my husband realized that he had left an eye mask at the hotel, and there was NO reply from the hotel at all. It's ok that they couldn't find the eye mask, but they should at least give some response. This is disappointing. "

"The hotel is somewhat deep in the park itself. This is slightly annoying for those with luggage, as you might need to find and wait for the shuttle bus, but it means that it's actually very close to chaoping station, which is where most people begin their hike, and you can always take the train to chaoping station. The property itself is well maintained and clean, and the room are spacious and well equipped. There is a very nice observation deck on the 8th floor with one of the best views of the Alishan sunset (many of the other observation points can be blocked by trees during spring/summer). And as a bonus, you don't have to trek back to your hotel in the dark."

"The property itself is great. Building is almost weirdly pristine. The area is somewhat inconvenient. Jiayi is a rural town in the end and there is a distinct lack of sidewalks. Combined with the frantic scooter traffic and walking around with luggage can feel sketchy. "

"Stay for one night before heading to Alishan. The stay is pleasant and comfortable. I stay on level 5 beside the lift and is really quiet. Staff are nice and location is very close to the bus stop in front of Chiayi TRA I’m taking to Alishan. I managed to deposit my luggage here while I take a carry on to Alishan."
