We stayed one night in Zermat prior to leaving for Lucerne. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom excellent and the price fantastic. The breakfast was also excellent with a good variety of meats cheeses, fruits, coffee, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay. The room was bigger than the others we stayed at, it was comfortable and clean.
This hotel is close to the center of town and restaurants.
It was close to the station, convenient for visiting the Matterhorn, and both clean and comfortable. I was deeply touched that they remembered our 30th wedding anniversary and left a congratulatory note. Highly recommended.
The hotel definitely needed little upgrade starting from floor carpet to room wallpaper. Breakfast buffet was ok not much to choose from. Front desk is located at the another hotel close by that I wasn’t told in advance so took me little time to locate the check in desk.
Location was perfect.
The location was great. It was right in the heart of everything. Easy walk from the train station. The complementary breakfast was fantastic. The gentleman who checked us in what's very known knowledgeable and friendly. Loved the view from our balcony. The mini fridge was very handy. No ac but we left the windows open and everything was fine
Support by hotel staff members was great, and location was also good for walking around Zermatt. Breakfast was included, it was also very useful. I would like to stay again when revising Zermatt in future, as this hotel is very convenient for me.
Very nice clean, well-maintained hotel in Zermatt. Main hotel is immediately across the road. Rooms nice, breakfast good, breakfast room nice. Relatively basic but great price-point for Zermatt.
A gentleman from the hotel took our bags to our room and he also helped us the next day when we had trouble with the key. A balcony was off our room, plus breakfast provided. Hotel was just off the main shopping area. Very nice!!

Disliked: Amenities
It is an old hotel. It is clean and quiet. It is close to the train and town. The linens were in need of replacement(torn duvet and ratty towels). Because it is in Zermatt, it is over priced. There are nicer hotels nearby. It was my first time here and did not know what to look for. The breakfast was simple and ok. It is a 2 star hotel.
This is, basically, a backpacker's hostel or ski hostel. We had a room that slept four; it was clean, the beds were comfortable; there was a small terrace on which to sit. The first day we had breakfast in Hotel Simi, but the remaining two days was in the hotel. It was an alright breakfast. Hotel Simi had scrambled eggs and sausage; our hotel did not. The location was good - away from the main street, so it was quiet. It was a tad expensive for what we got for three nights, but it was probably the cheapest. Zermatt is very, very expensive.
Perfect location. Walk from train station, downtown just steps from everything. Friendly staff. Love the vintage and historical feel, super clean, great beds. Can’t say enough good things.
Nice location in the village. Good-size room with an older-looking bathroom. You have to go to the hotel next door to check-in where they only had one person doing the work for a few of us showing up at the same time. More illogically, they had three people at the desk the next morning for checking out. Good breakfast.
This hotel is in a very convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from the train station. While the room was on the smaller side, it was perfectly sufficient for a solo traveler. A simple breakfast buffet is included, which is a nice touch. Though the amenities are a bit dated, they are fully functional. Overall, it’s a solid, dependable choice for a short trip.
