"Guest services, restaurant staff, housekeeping and all staff we encountered were absolutely phenomenal. Professional, polite, friendly and welcoming. It was nice to be back in Zimbabwe after over a decade and to be reminded of what it feels like to be home. Shout out to the Chefs, the food was exceptional both in the main restaurant and at the spa. If Boma id part of the same chain, the entertainment and food were on the same level - absolutely too notch! Would highly recommend a stay here and I would gladly come back for more. Shout out to Louise, Ronald, Gibson, Owen, Khumbula (hotel), then Pretty, Precious, Kelly, Nokthula (Spa), and finally Busi and a very smiley other lady who came looking for me when I left abruptly (Boma)."

"Room upgrade was a pleasant suprise however ruined by noisy inconsiderate guests in the surrounding rooms. Waiting staff watched me arrive in good time for a dinner order then deliberately ignored me on instruction from the chef whilst I sat in plain view of them all. When I eventually caught their attention, the chef told them to tell me the kitchen closes at 8pm."

"I cannot say enough about this Lodge. If I can give it more than five stars I would come, especially because of the hostess Thandi. From the initial check-in to every day when I saw her, she took care of every meat I had. She made sure that I pre-ordered my meals. She took care of booking my chores and a dinner in the evening. She made sure that I got a ride too and from the airport. The staff at the restaurant was exceptional. I was the only guest in the hotel for two out of the four nights and they treated me like royalty. The pool is excellent and the entire property is gorgeous. I highly recommend staying here. One of the best experiences I’ve had in my over 30 years of traveling."
