「Breakfast was very good and in a lovely peaceful garden. Staff in the hotel were fantastic, really helpful even under pressure. It was horribly hot the weekend that we were there (unusual for Cardiff) but they did everything possible to make us comfortable with fans (no air-conditioning).」

「Lovely place to stay and staff were so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyd the hearty breakfast. The location is great to travel by train in to Cardiff city centre. We will return and hopefully arrive earlier to fit in an evening meal - menu looked good.」

「We booked a studio for two nights which was on 1/F and clean. A bottle of milk and some cakes were offered, which tasted good. We could park in the driveway or on the street. We visited the Four Waterfalls and hiked to the Pen y Fan along the horse shoe route, both spots were within 30 minutes of drive. Tesco and restaurants were just within a few minutes.」

「This place needs some really attention. The lock for the door pin was missing. Frame around the door near the latch it looked as someone must have tried to brake in or who knows. Ceiling has seing better days.. the room has no aircon which is fair enough, but leavening windows for air circulation the were some drink people on the square and you could hear them..I think I will stop now complaining as there are way to many things need looking」

「Very clean and spacious room. Check in/out was simple and efficient. Room Lacked a minifridge. Room was close to the back which meant was quite noisy from trash being taken out late at night and early morning deliveries.」

「We were on the first floor so the window was so high up you couldn’t see out of it. The quilt cover was ripped at the top and had been put on inside out. The shower was ok but no instruction for use were anywhere to be seen. Staff were very helpful. It was a bit noisy at night as sound proofing isn’t amazing but good enough. The pitch of the ceiling in our room came down low enough that I could hit my head on it.」

「Absolutely fabulous place. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. The building is fantastic. The restaurant food is of highest quality. The only criticism I would have is that the breakfast menu is extremely limited. Overall well worth a visit.」
