「VERY disappointing stay. The hotel failed to disclose that it was under major renovation before we booked. While we understand construction happens, guests should be informed. We had to change rooms because of a strong odor and poor cleanliness, excessive humidity, and the other rooms our group booked were also very dirty. 「I arrived fairly late and the check in was by a kiosk which I wasn't real happy about. The person isn't there to see what's happening and couldn't help the person in front of me who had the wrong date for check in. There's no elevator but it's only 2 levels. It's an older hotel and needs an update with worn carpets, etc. It's in an ok part of town and felt safe. There was a good variety of items for breakfast. The air conditioning worked well. The hotel was very quiet and the beds...

「Our room was clean. Hot water for sink and shower. AC cold. Beds clean and comfortable. 2 issues. 1. First room (163) we were assigned was occupied! So had to wait 30+ minutes for another room (159). 2. Room 159 door was not opening properly. Could only open by turning handle up and even then that seemed iffy. So that meant we could never both leave the room and feel comfortable that we could get back in the room.」

「The checkin went well, very friendly and gave us a few extra towels when I asked for some. Bed was comfortable and clean, was nice and cool in the room, quiet, I didn't even hear any traffic noise at all by a main road. Remote didn't work for the TV, but we managed, ice machine was not working, and no vending machines there. Husband didn't like the small room, but I didn't mind it. I think overall it was a nice stay.」
