The Vanguard - York Residence
The room was meant to be soundproof but could hear next door for starters, then we seen it wasn’t a king size bed but two single beds put together which wasn’t very comfortable to say the least. Also two of the rooms I’d say are used for permanent residence. Then passing pedestrians through the night ...

Radisson Hotel York
Rooms were nice and clean. We booked a superior room and it was a lot smaller than it looked on the photos. Not sure how small the standard rooms are but they must be tight.

Hampton by Hilton York Piccadilly
The room was spacious, but the double bed was quite low. The settee converted into a single bed, and everything was clean and tidy. The staff were excellent, but make sure you get to breakfast early to avoid disappointment.”
