Pretty mediocre, bathroom door didn't latch or lock at all. The noise of the cistern / radiator was very loud when trying to sleep. Also the light behind the bed didn’t work. Hotel Indigo York by IHG
Stayed with my son in a twin room. Nice big room with a bit of character to it which you often don’t get any more - they all look the same! Really nice friendly staff in the hotel, particularly on arrival at check in and at breakfast.

Holiday Inn York City Centre by IHG
Bed was small, place doesn’t look anywhere near as nice as it looks in the pictures. Definitely needs updating and some money investing. It’s not awful but definitely not as good as advertised. Room also wasn’t cleaned during the stay and had to ring for clean towels. Disappointing stay
