"Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and city walls walk. Split into a few different blocks of the two storey building , my room on the second floor was opposite the car park at the back . £10:per night to park in the gated yard, with lots of spaces. My room was fine , double bed , bath and shower , large screen tv. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room , and more delivered daily. Didn't have the breakfast as I thought £12.50 per day too expensive Staff were great especially the lady who checked me in early, though the room wasn't ready, I had a walk around York for a couple of hours and when I returned my bags had been taken to my room."

"Wonderful staff. Extremely helpful. Clean rooms. A better choice might be made for coffee brands in the rooms. What they do have is factory floor dust in bags. No amount of sweetener will improve the current choice. Other than that, I love this hotel brand. I've been before and I intend to go again. Than you, Moxy."

"Very comfortable bed and pillows, spotlessly clean bathroom and a really good shower. Nice toileteries. Breakfast had plenty of choice ( apart from no fried eggs !) and was all cooked well and nicely presented. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will cerainly stay again next time we go to York."

"The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and whenever we interacted with them. Our room was clean and in good condition. The outdoor beer garden was a great place to enjoy an afternoon drink, and family friendly for our five-year-old to join. The hotel was located a short distance from the Bootham Bar entrance to the city centre and conveniently located near other amenities."

"Breakfast was very good and I liked making my own waffle. Room was good. Little lift outside hotel for disabled and elderly was very difficult to figure out how to use. Had to carry heavy luggage up the steps. Ramp might be better. Location was good. Would recommend staying there."
