Walking through the grounds feels like stepping into a painting. The staff are genuinely warm, attentive, and super helpful, making the whole experience effortless and welcoming. One of the highlights was renting a hanfu dress directly at the hotel. The collection is gorgeous, with so many beautiful styles to choose from, and the service was truly professional—from fitting to styling. It made the entire experience feel authentic and special. "The most helpful staff we’ve ever encountered at any hotel in Shanghai. Especially the bellhops and the front desk staff. From carrying luggage to sorting deliveries, to the friendliness of the cleaning staff, the service cannot be faulted. Location is also central and has quick access to restaurants and the metro. The room itself is slightly dated but comfortable to stay. Would book again. "
