「Howfield is a personal favourite of ours, it's such a nice, clean place with great value for money. The restaurant next-door is also a great plus, never had any issues from the current construction happening to the buildings next-door either! 」

「Great out of the way Gem, Absolutely Super staff made the stay seam like home ,Food in the restaurant was very well presented and enjoyed it. We had a Curry that was warming and spicey , 」

「My recent stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the shower head was broken, which made bathing an unpleasant experience. The room itself was dusty and had a bad smell, compounded by the constant noise from the surroundings. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.」

「Another lovely stay at the hotel, always welcoming and enjoyable to stay here. Only negative was our room was not ready as promised at 3pm, or at 4pm when next promised. Other than the waiting around, no issues.」

「This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back.」

「Very nice, peaceful and just lovely」

「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」
