"Stayed for a couple of nights. Out of town and loved the tranquility and close up views of the mountains, especially with the river view balcony we had. Staff all extremely friendly. The food was very good and meant not needing to travel into town. Would totally recommend."

"I just visited Yangshou with my mum. We both loved staying at the Lisa Boutique Hotel. The staff were so friendly, with a big thank you to Kelly for helping to organise numerous transfers and day trips.
The hotel is located in the main town of Yangshou, in a quiet pocket with easy walking access to the busier, louder and more touristy parts of town. It was the perfect location for us, easy to potter around in the evening but a nice, quiet place to return to.

The view from the room looking at the mountains facing west (beautiful sunset view) was astonishing. The staff was kind, polite and very friendly. Ms. Linzi, Mr. Zhu and other staff members went out of the way to delight the customers. If you are planning a trip to Yangsou, plan 2-3 days and be with nature to decompress and relax. Don’t miss the dining at Magpie Restaurant (Yulong River Branch) 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here recommended by the hotel staff.

IMPORTANT: the Expedia app places this hotel incorrectly in the very touristy and crowded West Street area whereas in fact it is located about a 10 minute drive outside of Yangshuo.
It’s a beautiful location on a hillside behind roadside buildings in Jima Village. It is a very quiet area within a cheap and easy DiDi ride from West Street.
On phone apps (like DiDi) it’s referred to as Yangshuo Milan Shanshe Ancient Architecture Cultural Hotel or
Yangshuomo Lanshan Shegujian Culture Minsu...

We went there for part of our one week trip to Guilin and Yangshuo area. There are lots of small hotels scattered around Yangshuo and that makes it difficult to choose. Finally, we choose Li River Resort because it is not in the city centre (the West Street) which is too busy for a relaxed trip whilst not very far away from places of action.
We are not disappointed at all. We can walk along the river side to the city centre in 30 minutes which is very pleasant, or ask the hotel to...

They speak English, French and Spanish, what is really helpful and helps to feel comfortable. More of that, the boss and all the staff pay very well attention to us and helped us a lot to discover Yangshuo !

Amazing views and designed. Clean, friendly staff that works hard. My only complaints are the shower isn't well designed it has a lot of standing water all the time as it doesn't drain, and there's no real service at the pool area, you have to hunt someone down. The buffet for breakfast was fine, nothing special but pretty in how they set it up. I didn't try the expensive restaurant as they wanted to charge $300 a person for the tasting menu. Insane pricing really - we ate for $20-30 a night...

This resort is few blocks away from the noisy tourist street and is an excellent place for peaceful stay with a beautiful mountain view. We are a group of 4 from Texas USA and we all enjoyed this resort especially a foggy early morning with fresh air. The sitting area in the first floor and the tea room at the 5th floor are all beautifully designed, making us really want to sit down comfortably and read a good book. Enjoyed the fresh made breakfast in a glass window room with breath-taking...

The staff are wonderful. Accommodating and very helpful. The hotel is a great location out of the hustle and bustle of Yangshou. The facilities are super for what is required of the area. Laundry on site was a great help.

This hotel is amazing! The staff speak excellent English and are eager to help with anything, from booking taxis to helping you with planning your stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a welcome drink and then spent the evening in the rooftop restaurant, which offers delicious food and provides breathtaking views.

Surely one of the world's best hotels. Set in a magnificent out of town landscape. There is also an excellent Western food restaurant. Very relaxing. Very highly recommended.

We had the room with a big square bath and balcony overlooking the mountains. The room was of a high standard, all the gadgets for lighting and air conditioning to make it comfortable during a September, very humid stay. Room cleaned and restocked really well each day. Staff on reception really helpful but you will need a translation app if you need to speak English but this was fine and wasn’t a problem, the staff in the cafe next door were really lovely and friendly. Great juices, just a few...
