"Everything was clean & accomodating staff.
I particularly liked the bushy surrounds and access to the beach. For food you'll need to go to Portland and take a container to fill with drinking water for a drink and if you want a cuppa when you arrive.
I used the tourist information brochure to plan my sightseeing for the next day.
I would go again on my way to or from Adelaide. "

"Only spent one night at the Caledonian Inn, but would have been happy with more. Our room was newly renovated and in great condition. Large and lots of room for bags. The bathroom was also very large, had a great shower and more shelf space that in any other hotel room we've stayed in.
The mattress was really comfortable. Solid wifi available throughout.
Checkin was a breeze. No need to contact the hotel in advance, you can just approach staff at the bar. We dined at the pub and the food was good.
We stayed on a Thursday night, so it wasn't so loud, but the hotel does let guests know there is loud music on a Friday and Saturday."
