「Very hotel in some deeper and in much need of updating albeit some work was happening as floors were up but nothing warned of or briefed Room was basic, tv did not work, staff knew but declined to mention it or offer any fix or assistance. Complaints department details requested on check out and was told ‘someone would be jn touch’. They haven’t. Still. Pretty disappointing in all.」

「Disappointing stay raised with the manager but no meaningful resolution. The staff were friendly and the room had some positives, including clean linen, a good-sized TV and convenient parking, but unfortunately the overall experience was very poor. The hotel felt in need of a thorough clean and better maintenance. There was thick dust on ledges and surfaces, smeared glass, sticky breakfast tables, dusty artificial plants and noticeable limescale in the bathroom. The extractor fan did not work,...

「I can't really review this hotel because we didn't end up staying here. The hotel had no air conditioning and it was 97 degrees. I am older and can not stand the heat. The young lady that waited on me was great she was checking to see that under the circumstances they could refund me for the 4 night stay that I had reserved. I never heard back from anyone. 「My room was up a flight of not very well light stairs causing me to miss the last step it was above the bar and entertainment room, live music started 9PM and finished 11PM fine until more music started, at 11.50PM I rang down to see how long it will last, I was told 10mins, never happened, I rang at 1.10AM to ask again, someone hung up on me then finally it stopped. In the room Breakfast was advertised from 8AM never started until 8.30 as I had a ferry to catch in Poole it was all a mad...

「We loved our stay here. The gardens and Inn are really lovely and we enjoyed having several meals in the restaurant. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. This was a great location to head out for day trips and a restful spot to return to at the end of a busy day. Fantastic!」

「We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.」
