About the only thing I didnt care for was the bed. They advertise a queen, Im accustomed to a King so it seemed small to me and stiff. Otherwise everything was very nice'

I can’t wait to stay here again. Our room was perfect for a girls get away. There were basic dishes so we could have snacks & drinks . Staff was friendly & helpful ✔️

Overnight stop
Useful place for a 1 night stop on way East to Maine. Only drawback was the road outside... Plenty of traffic which meant noise and a bit of a challenge crossing to the walkway on the opposite side of the road. Otherwise useful for wolfeboro.

Good location, comfortable, well equipped, large studio. Pool was occupied by a group of ladies exercising from 10:30 to 11:30 am so we did not swim.

Fine for a brief stay
Place could use some updating. Generally felt clean, but some room for improvement (shower had black spots, dust on the ceiling vent, sticky part of the floor, etc.). Biggest complaint was that the checkout was earlier than listed here. Checkout is at 10am, not 11am.

The front desk staff were very friendly (both at check in and check out)! The room was clean and offered a bed and two pull out sofas which was perfect for us. We didnt use the ameneties (horsehoe pit, pool, grill, badmitton net, etc) as we only stayed one night though definitely stay there when next in the area.

If you like small town and quietness in roual area this is the place for you. Not a fast pace for younger generations but great place for the older generations with beautiful landscaping, golf courses, weight room and pool area.

The property advertised: "Private bathroom with Shower/tub combination , Shampoo, Soap & Hair dryer." There was a private bathroom with a hair dryer and that was the only true thing. There was no shower/tub combination nor any conditioner or soap. The office said they were out of those things. AND the shower was a very small old thing with a water control that only barely worked with much effort. NO TUB at all. We paid a premium price because I wanted those things! Our room was on the third floor with no elevator and very steep stairs and no help getting our luggage up there. Our main window was directly over a busy main street with an old fashioned window air conditioner with the fillers on each side so it was as noisy as having the window open. We never saw most of the other amenities because they were in another building somewhere and the office was always too busy to give any help or directions. We wanted to stay in an older place with character but I would never choose this place again.

I'm sorry we weren't aware this was an important detail for you. We would have made every effort to adjust the location of your room. I was, also, disheartened you felt we didn't care to give you time and attention while here. Please know, we take each comment from our guests to heart so we can discuss and improve for future visits. It is our hope should you come back to the area, you will give us another chance to serve you.

Thank you for the review. The Inn where your room was located is a re-fashioned farmhouse originally built in the late 1700's. Aware of its history, we work diligently to keep our spaces clean and as modern as possible, but still maintain its integrity as a historic building. We have units that are in buildings not as aged, so, should you come back to the area, it would be our pleasure to show you those units.

Amazing propriety and great location. We booked a room at the yacht club location, overlooking the water. We had amazing view of the lake and were within walking distance of all restaurants and Wolfeboro.

We loved our stay at the windrifter! It was a great location: the staff made check in a breeze and my son LOVED the pool. The balcony overlooking the golf course was beautiful and the location to downtown made things easy! Thanks for a great stay- we will be back!

Great place to stay for a family of 4.
Great property right next to the water. Sheets and towels were clean, shower was hot. Walking distance to cute shops and ice cream. Really enjoyed our stay. Only complaint is I called ahead to be sure the pull-out couches had bedding, was assured they did, but they didn't. We made due with extra blankets in the room, but bedding would have been appreciated.

What a wonderful surprise! Going to concert and looking for affordable room for the night. We were very impressed with the entire facility and will be getting rooms for our adult children and grandchildren soon, so we can bring the whole family for some golf and to visit the area. The shower was moldy and mildewly. The blinds in the bedroom were taped together with red duct tape. The air conditioner in the bedroom was rusty and smelled musty when turned on.

Just OK
The Windrifter is a fairly dated hotel - hard to call it a 'resort'. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when I requested to change rooms after my initial room was directly across from the building entry door, making my door rattle/slam every time someone entered/exited the building through the entry. The walls are thin and you can't escape the noise of upstairs guests/kids running up and down the halls and in their room. Overall it was fine for one night.

There is a lot to do on site, friendly and helpful staff, and a very quiet location. The room was very clean and the kitchenette was great. Spacious room and we loved the balcony. We will be back again!

This was a clean, comfortable room with a full kitchen and supplies. The interiors are outdated, but everything was working correctly. The late check in time, and early check out time of 10 am was inconvenient. Overall, I had a pleasant stay here and would return.
