"We had a fantastic time away at the castle hotel! Would highly recommend it to anyone! The castle is done up amazingly and the rooms are brilliant, very clean and well presented. Will definitely come again."

"Beware of hotels that book large conference groups. There were two large groups, one that partied outside our window until midnight. We could not access our original rooms as the lift was broken and my 89 year old mother could not go up the stairs. The receptionist was more interested in checking out the split ends in her hair than she was in trying to accommodate us with new rooms. When they finally did give us rooms, we had to haul five suitcases, a car seat, a two year old and my Mom in her walker by ourselves. Disgraceful. "

"Excellent rooms, and lovely communal areas. The staff were really friendly and helpful, going well beyond just good customer service. Car park spaces are quite tight and cars were sometimes temporarily blocked in. Good breakfast. Could do with either a second coffee machine or a faster one. "
