「Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! It is an experience to stay here and I am grateful for that experience. Can't wait to return. TY, Walter!! ...

「The property was very nice but there were no breakfast or lunch options for guests who stayed there during the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant for dinner was delicious. 」

「My girlfriend and I LOVED this place. It's not the Marriot or some chain, so it's a bit unique and has quirks, and that's why it's awesome. The room was small but comfortable, the bed very comfy. There was no TV in the room, which I really liked. Great shower. Outside there was a little deck with chairs so we could relax, listen to the Ausable River and look at the lovely grounds. There was also a restaurant area (closed while we were there) that we could sit in for meals or just to hang out....

「Our room had a balcony and a great vew of Mirror Lake and Main Street. The room was well setup and everything looked well maintained.」

「This was a fun place to stay. Kind of quirky, certainly unique. Clean and spacious and with a Scandinavian vibe. Could have used an extra hook or two for towels and the sink was a challenge as water tended to splash over onto the floor. Free use of bikes and an outdoor sauna added to the special atmosphere. They also offer a couple of glamping options. Cool. We tried the breakfast basket option one morning. Sharp idea. We would stay here again, without question. 」

「Such a beautiful and well cared for B & B. Comfortable, cool, clean, artistic and historic. Enjoyed my stay immensely. Favorite thing was I barely saw any staff there my entire stay. I think they purposely stay out of your way unless you need something. Awesome and unexpected. 」
