"Clean. Pleasant innkeeper willing to make accommodation for late arrival and early departure. Bed not that comfortable and the room was too dark. Light blown out in ceiling fixture and only one dim lamp. Could use nightstand on both sides of bed. Arived on a cold, very rainy night. Had the fireplace (gas) been on and if there was more light in entry parlor, would have seemed more welcoming. All in all, a good experience, but not stellar."

"This hotel is adorable. The staff was extrememly friendly and helpful. Their lounge served amazing drinks and snacks. It is located downtown so it was a short walk from the venue of the event we were attending. I was worried about the noise level based on other reviews but that was not an issue at all. Very quiet outside and inside the hotel. Key acces to all exterior doors so no safety issues either. "
