「If you need good Internet avoid this hotel. Its the worst Internet I've experienced in a "1st world" hotel. Been here 4 times over 3 months for work and it's been absolutely abysmal. Their connectivity fluctuates wildy and constantly drops. Speed is non existent. I've had to use mobile data for 3 out of 4 trips. Truly pathetic. Complaints to management is pointless. They do nothing. The main plus about this place is the gym. And the restaurant is good. Internet absolute muck!!!」

「Lovely property with views over the marina. The cafe is really nice and the baked goods excellent. They do have a lift-which is not common in guest houses—so that was helpful for the luggage. Bed was comfy with a great, warm duvet. Can recommend!」

「We were visiting some ancestral homes in and around the area but this location was also really convenient for Cork and Cobh. Eric the host and owner was great - super helpful and checked in every day to make sure all was well. Full shared kitchen stocked with every convenience was also great - as was having a space to hangout besides the room to do some work. Plus fun to meet other guests.」

「When we entered our assigned room, it smelled off. We opened the bathroom door and the entire ceiling and some of the wall was covered in clearly visible black mold. We returned to the front desk to ask for another room. They were very helpful. The manager showed us to a new room which was much better, but how do you allow a room to look like that and then try to rent it out? Even though they were accommodating, that put a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of our stay.」

「It’s not a hotel, it’s student housing. The staff was very friendly, but gives dorm room vibes. Wasn’t a terrible stay, but would choose differently if we came to cork again. No parking so plan on spending around 40 euro a day on the nearest car park.」

「This boutique hotel was outstanding. The rooms are large, the king size bed was comfortable, the bathroom was also large and very clean. The breakfasts are outstanding, second to none. Great service from the staff as well. I highly recommend Perryview House.」
