Friendly Guesthouse

Dave was warm, welcoming and very helpful about the area. Our room was outfitted well for a guest house. There was a small lounge on the 2nd floor for our use, as well. Great water pressure in the shower. The bed was slightly too firm for my comfort but my husband loved it.

Lovely house. Very quiet location. Margaret was very kind and let us get room key before 4. Told us there was lots of parking by Blarney Castle. Short drive to castle. Would not recommend walking it. Bed was super comfy. Shower pressure was very relaxing. Room was nice and clean. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great place to stay and a short walk into Blarney. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and the breakfast was good. Walking to the pub in Blarney and visiting with the locals was a great experience. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a room only place. The window only cracks a little so room stays too hot. Owners are not on sight much to ask questions or get extra anything. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. Overall would pick somewhere else

Property is lovely and clean in a quite area, but it is not a good choice if you plan to visit the city as the transport doesn't work. We have been waiting hours at the bus stop than a couple gave us a lift to Cork, otherwise we had to call a taxi which is not convenient. If you have a car, this is surely perfect.

Die Unterkunft ist einwandfrei. Die Betreiberin ist sehr freundlich, es ist alles sehr sauber und es ist angenehm ruhig dort. Man muss aber wissen, dass es dort kein Frühstück gibt. Einziger wirklicher Nachteil ist, dass das Städtchen Blarney fußläufig etwas weit weg ist, sodass man ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto hinfahren muss. Parkplätze gibt es dort aber mehr als genug. Wer nicht unbedingt auf Frühstück besteht, sollte diese Unterkunft unbedingt buchen. Zumal ein Besuch von Blarney lohnt, vor allem wegen des Schlosses samt Park.

The host could not be more friendly or helpful. Gave us pointers for our next day trip. Wam and friendly when w cam to eat. Town is very walkable. Many choices to eat at. Coachman’s was serving good food in town.
