The main entrance was not well signed and we ended up in staff parking. The property is large and expansive, sometimes making it difficult to find our way. That being said the property was beautiful and the rooms were nice. The main area was walkable and we had a nice meal.

The room was good and spacious. Room and bathrooms are a bit dated. The air con was not working and as per reception, maintaining could not fix it, hence in the heat wave no air con was not ideal. Although they provided fans and extra water and drinks but nights became sweaty.

We had to change rooms due to bedding & were moved into a handicapped room which had various issues, shower would flood water into the washroom, sink tap would flush water out as soon as opened & safe did not work. We were moved to a nicer room for last night however a/c didn’t work.

This hotel is very well located for travelling around the Cork City, Cobh, Kinsale areas. The pool was nice and big and even though there were a good few people there, it did not feel crowded. We had a family room with a double bed and two single beds, which was perfect for us. The shower (which was separate from the bathtub) was fantastic. 5 stars for the shower alone!! And we liked the shampoo/shower gel so much, that I have purchased a bottle to use at home. Breakfast was good as well. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this hotel to others.

Good hotel in a good location, if you have a car or are using public transport. Rooms spacious. We were room only and did not have breakfast as expensive for a family of four. Spa good, had to purchase a swim hat, this wasn’t a problem but others in pool not wearing a hat and staff poolside did not enforce this.

The hotel is quite old, but it was clean overall. However, the carpets in the room showed their age, and the bed sheets had stains from excessive wear. Unfortunately, they only provided a thick comforter as a bed cover, which might be great for winter, but it's really uncomfortable during the summer months. On the bright side, the room had a functioning AC and plenty of space. My main issue was with the breakfast, which left much to be desired. Firstly, it was an à la carte menu rather than a buffet, limiting options. The choices leaned heavily towards meat and dairy, and the fresh fruit bowl was disappointing. The waitress didn't offer alternatives like oat milk, and the cereal and granola were of very low quality. The bread selection was frankly awful, and I felt breakfast should start at 6 AM since many guests want to explore the city early, especially those eager to make the most of their day. Aside from this, the hotel was decent, with ample parking and plenty of room.
