「Desk clerk Emily was pleasant and very helpful! Facilities are beautiful with lots of antiques and cozy nooks for private relaxing. We loved every minute there and will definitely stay there again!」

「When I came into the town of Shipshewana at 3ish I noticed that the traffic signals was not working and found out before checking in that there was no electricity in the entire town because of a storm overnight. So I went ahead and put my luggage in the room and continued on to my destination in town that had a generator running. I came back to the hotel at 8pm and found out that it still didn't have power. 「Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again.」

「No AC. Not broken,just non-existent. Earwigs over bathroom door, plaster bits on bathroom floor, no toilet paper in room, no chairs at all, two throw pillows as sleeping pillows, nothing larger. The windows are broken, the boarded windows are not sealed so who knows what kind of mold and animal life come through, including bugs. It smells like mold and weed.
