"Great place to stay!!"

"The craftsmanship of the hotel is fantastic. The hotel Is beautiful and well laid out. The swimming pool and the hot tub are well maintained. The breakfast in the morning was a step above the chain hotels. I missed having bacon and sausage, but how many hotel breakfasts have thick carved ham on the breakfast buffet? That was a wonderful surprise! The made to order omelet was a plus. The sausage gravy tasted freshly made and the donuts were fresh. The make your own yogurt bar with the fresh fruit was a real treat. The hotel is across the parking lot from the Blue Gate Performing Arts Theater, so we appreciated the ease of travel to our evening concert. Every staff member was courteous and helpful. Well Done!!"

"Das Essenhaus’s hotel combines quiet Amish Country surroundings with excellent attentive service. The room was immaculate and comfortable, with a roomy bed and very nice bathroom. The landscaping is incredible. Per Amish style, the food at breakfast and the associated main restaurant is classic farm home fare: simple, ample+, and hearty. Note that there is no alcohol or smoking anywhere on the property."

"Room was clean, on first floor. Tree line prevented seeing the turnpike almost felt like in the country. Sign for hotel was smaller than expected, drove passed the first time. Breakfast was good, hot, with variety. Staff was friendly & helpful. If we come back to this area we will stay with Bestwestern plus!"
