This quaint little inn was perfect. From the service to the beautiful overlook of the water, there wasn't much more we could ask for!

This was a very scenic drive up to the property but pretty much everything else was disappointing. Our bathroom sink leaked water on the ground all night. Staff seemed pretty annoyed when I would ask questions. The complimentary grab and go breakfast was great and the best part. Would not stay here again sorry to say.

Property was beautiful. Rooms a bit dated. Visited in the winter when we were not able to take advantage of the waterfront. There was a restaurant on site which we did not patronize. Other dining options require several miles drive. Bathroom was large. Room faced restaurant exhaust fans. Thought this was the cause of the loud buzz all evening until it shut down and then realized the mini fridge in the closet was to blame. Took quite a bit of time to get the room to a comfortable temperature due in part to the old style thermostat. We left before breakfast was served.

Room temperature was near 50 F upon arrival. Turned up all heaters, but still took 2-3 hours to get to normal room temperature (65-70 F). A nice touch would have been to ensure normal room temperature in guest rooms before guests arrive. Just a suggestion...

This classic, historic property was exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. It was sparkly clean, warm and the rooms are absolutely well-appointed. The front desk manager provided a large carafe of hot water for me to have tea in my room and he was very helpful. The large and healthy breakfast options included fresh fruit salad, bagels, fresh eggs, and many other things to start the day well. I loved my stay!

Lovely place to stay for a quiet evening. Jogged in the morning; all throughout the golf course; beautiful, peaceful, safe. Wonderful location. Sweet little breakfast in the morning. I will be back!!!

Beautiful hotel but room for improvement
The property itself and the view were amazing. Le Plage was also a great restaurant. Hotel has a nice antique look but could use some upgrades (carpets and bathrooms) Staff could be a little friendlier and paying cash at the pool (no atm on property or digital payment option) is inconvenient. Also there is no private beach (short drive to paid beach) as hotels.com states. Overall loved the hotel and would definitely return.

The staff and property were lovely. The setting is absolutely stunning. The room and bathroom were large, with antique furniture. It was very charming, comfortable, and relaxing. You can use the facilities where the hotel is located, and it’s about a 30 minute walk from the beach.

Beautiful setting on the water and a golf course. It's like staying in a room at the country club. The receptionist was a bit grumpy and a master of two word sentences, and the restaurant/bar was closed so if you arrive after 9 be prepared to go straight to your room and hole up for the night. But overall a pleasant surprise to find such a nice place.

The room 211 was quiet, cozy, spacious, had great potential but really dated and shabby. Bed was super comfortable, had great linen. Room had a lack of furniture despite of big space. Should have deck of coffee table instead of 3 nightstands. Housekeeping was quick and inconspicuous. At the sane time no staff during breakfast in dining room, no one to ask for help. Poor food variety on breakfast buffet.

off season right on the ocean went during the week. price was great beautiful sunset and and sunrise. the restaurant is pricey. but there’s plenty of restaurants near by. the rooms are very big beds we’re comfortable

Location was the main factor - views of the shore are lovely and it's close to our house for out-of-town guests. While the furnishings could use a refresh, everything was tidy and comfortable. Friendly staff as we checked in and nice to have continental breakfast. Would be glad to have friends stay.

Great Staff... Nice facility and Surroundings
We spent a nice Friday evening at the Inn. It was very quaint and quiet, except for the bat mitzvah which posed not issue to us. A wonderful, brief, winter stay, contributed by super accommodating staff, waterside views, and the sprawling hills of the golf course. Our car battery had died overnight and the front desk associate found a company vehicle and jumper cables to get us on our way. It was above and beyond the service one would expect; when I asked for his name, he replied , "no need... this is what folks are supposed to do." We would stay at the the Inn at Longshore again.
