"Close to airport with a shuttle and breakfast that starts at 6am so we could eat and shuttle to airport to make our international 9am flight. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Tony asked if we wanted any special considerations in our room (view, quiet etc) and accommodated. Breakfast was good. Wide selection like other places we stayed in the area with excellent food. Coffee machine was best coffee we had in our ten day tour of the area! "

"We returned to Akomo after a stay the week before. It's very well located for train travelers and a direct and close walk to shops and restaurants and trams. We had left an item behind and it was waiting for us when we returned. The room is basic and it's self-entry but this is reflected in the reasonable price. Ask the owner for a Bern Welcome Card for free local transport. S/he was very responsive to all contacts."

"The reception staff was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the area, fluent in multiple languages and really helpful with information and assistance supplying us for our weekend stay. Apartment was clean, roomy and had everything we needed to stay in or go out (including much needed Nespresso and umbrellas). Everything is very walkable from the location. " I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Royal. From the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional. I was warmly greeted with a genuine smile by Dimitri, who immediately made me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. Within minutes, everything was already taken care of — he had sent the bellboy to my car to retrieve our luggage, which was such a thoughtful and efficient touch. As a VIP Expedia member, he also kindly upgraded me to a huge suite, which was an incredible surprise. The suite was stunning, featuring one of the most beautiful bathrooms I’ve seen, a private balcony with a lovely city view, and even a glimpse of the mountains in the distance. It truly made the stay feel extra special. The excellent service didn’t stop there — the staff at the restaurant and bar were also extremely kind and attentive, making every interaction pleasant. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my stay. The combination of warm hospitality, thoughtful service, and beautiful accommodations made this a memorable experience in Geneva. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"We had a fantastic stay in Geneva. The location was perfect for our short visit—just steps from the train station, only 7 minutes from the airport, and within easy walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and historic sites. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, making it a relaxing place to return to after a day of exploring. The front desk staff were thoughtful, helpful, and very friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience and an ideal base for seeing the best of Geneva."
