"The host was wonderful and welcoming. So many helpful tips about what to see, where to go, what not to miss. Don’t forget to avail yourself of his unique pulley system for your luggage. A lot easier than lugging up several flights of a spiral staircase. The gentleman we interacted with (owner) is so proud of his city, his B&B, and his COFFEE! He’s an expert at all three. I’ll miss awakening each morning without the latter. A delightful place and host. "

"The hotel is super conveniently located as we wanted to visit Palermo's main sight. Beautiful churches on one side and Norman palace & cathedral on the other. Although all are within very short walking distance, we visited churches in the morning then came back to have a rest, then went out again to enjoy palace & cathedral. "What to say. The team could not have been anymore welcoming. There was an issue with the booking but we were upgraded. We had to move rooms but they did all the work. Super helpful, attentive, great with tips and tricks for our visits, and the breakfast was huge! Car looked after and ready when needed (and trust me you don’t want to worry about parking in Palermo). Would recommend to anyone. "

"Lovely room, excellent bathroom. Silvano was very helpful and recommended several excellent restaurants. Our favourite was Otto which was just next door. We were a little sceptical about Al Faro down near the port as the exterior looks a little shabby, however, once inside the trattoria is lovely and serves great food, a testament to this is that LOTS of Sicilian eat there"

"This property was very close to the train station, which is exactly what I was looking for. The area noisy during the day as it is a hot transit hub. It gets quiet in the evening allowing for rest. The hotel was under renovation, but the construction noise was very low and did not distrub my trip. It met all my needs."
