"A great location, only a short block from the Red 1 Line (downtown and uptown). Recently renovated, the rooms are slightly bigger than most central NY hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful- umbrellas handed out on a rainy day. It has a bar (good cocktails), but no restaurant. Breakfast is a $10 per person voucher for the bakery and coffee shop in the hotel (although not owned by them). Pastries were excellent, although of note, it doesn’t open until 7am if you are an early bird! If you don’t use the vouchers there, they can be used in the bar, which is a nice touch. It has a well equipped gym too. Location wise, a very safe area and easy to walk and get MTA. Great value for $. Would highly recommend."
