This hotel is absolute awful. It’s rare that there isn’t a thing positive to say but the staff were unfriendly and not helpful; the hotel is run down; there were many drunk people in the pool; there was only a “gas station” quality breakfast and no other food available; our bathtub was clogged. Honestly, it was awful,

Closing is a good thing
I understand why its going out of business. Run down. Inattentive customer service. Keys constantly not working.
Customer service is horrible as well as the hospitality of this resort. The manager is rude and hector at the front desk was disrespectful. I would not stay here again.
The resort is really nice especially all the different pools and hot tubs.
The pool got cold as the waterfall went down awhile the room we stayed in was dirty we have been coming for years they have gone downhill oh the pool looked like it had not been vacuumed either in a while
Pool areas, variety of restaurants and eating options ( though some were not open all the time) staff was excellent and welcoming (in spite of the expected closures ). And all under one roof.
This place has gone down hill. You could not get service for anything there. They had no staff and there restaurant was closed. I wish I would have stayed somewhere else I was very disappointed with my stay here. I have stayed here before and it was totally different that’s the reason I chose to stay here again. I will never come back to this place it was a terrible place!!
Although this property could use some updates it was clean, staff was friendly & the amenities were perfect for our one day stay. The kids loved the pools.
We arrived to a cold unwelcoming front desk clerk. I asked about the Burbon Street feature that was advertised and was told it was closed for the season. The website didn't say it was closed, we wanted to see that. The furniture in the indoor seating area by the sauna was very dirty. Only a small grill area open in the morning for a egg sandwich. The furniture in the room was outdated and scratched, and I turned on the shower and BROWN water came from the spout. We won't be back. The manager heard my comments from the back room and never came out to talk to me.

The property was wonderful with several restaurants and activities. Sure, it is a little run down, but our room was clean and staff were extremely nice. I would recommend.

Pheasant Run is unique because of it's old school appeal. It's indoor/Outdoor heated swimming pool is one of a kind. Nothing like swimming outdoors when it's snowing.
They are environmentally conscious with their water consumption systems which take a little getting used to.
I understand the resort may be closing down at the beginning of the year. Too expensive to operate. People should get over there with the family before that happens. You'll never see a place like this again.
I should have read the reviews before booking here. When it came time to check in, I waited 40 mins alone becsuse there was one lady at the front desk. She complained she was ready to ho home to her own kids when I stated it was my daughters birthday. The room was at the VERY end of the "resort." I should have been in the tower but they put my gamily and frienfs in building "G." It was explained we would have a golf view with a patio. I had a dirty pond view with a wooden rotting bacony that every room shared. The television was probably 20yrs old and did not work. Dakota from maintenance apologized and said the resort is not making changes or repairs because they have filed for bankruptcy. The a/c and heating unit was broken, as well as the screen door on our sliding glass door. There was garbage under the bed and in the tv console. There were supposed to be tons of amenities. Bourbon St restaurants were closed, there was no staff ANYWHERE and only half the games worked in the arcade. I booked one room and had family who booked 2 extra rooms. I have NEVER been so disappointed with a hotel or so called resort in my life!! I also took pictures and video to show.

The rooms are outdated. We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids and only had 2 lager towels and 2 hands towels and 1 wash cloth.

It’s an older property. Beds/ furniture/bathrooms need to be updated. Price does match quality. It does have plenty of common areas, restaurants to choose from.

Satisfactory
It was a good stay for the 2 nights we were there.
Room we had wasn’t as big as we’re used to for the rate we paid. It was comfortable, wi-fi was slow & not many tv channels to choose from.
1 kitchen to serve 3 restaurants so made service a bit slow.
Maybe need a little updating.

The resort was nice having everything right there ( theatre, bar with entertainment, pool, golf, etc) the rooms could use updating. The sink had cracks in it, bathroom was outdated. We had tickets for American English, which was great!!!
They desperately need to remodel their old part of hotel. Old ripped carpet, old furniture, musty smell throughout the hotel.

We have stayed here many times over several years. We really love this facility and all the amenities it has to offer. The past few years we have stayed in the Tower rooms. This year we stayed in a loft suite. The tower rooms are very nice. Feel the Courtyard rooms badly need to be upgraded.

Staff should be more informative about that there is no elevator when they provide us with a bell cart for our luggage. Staff should inform us about things to do and what is going on in the resort.
No maid service for some reason even when requested.
With the amount they charge per night, they should really update the place. Restaurants are old and run down. The fine dining was not even open as it has limited hours.
Sadly, we won’t be staying here again. :(
