"We had a restful night an amazing sleep Breakfast was lovely and I was helped with the coffee m/c, and our plates was removed with a smile very friendly staff we did not have to sit with the plates in front of us for long that I liked, . a lovely experience we will return ."

"Excellent one night stay. The room was clean and quiet with coffee and tea facilities. The staff were all very good checking in, at the bar and in the restaurant. We met friends here and all the food was delicious and a very high standard. We would definitely stay here again."

"The room was lovely on first impressions, not dingy or dusty just a few minor things - the shower was broken so you had to hold the shower head yourself, and there were black marks & what looked like chewing gum? stuck to the bedsheet under the pillow."

"Had a great stay here, would definitely return. The cottage is a typical Lancashire / Yorkshire traditional house, with lovely views and within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, commutable to other neighbouring towns. The cottage itself has everything you need, a great pub "The Dog Inn" is a t minute walk."

"Absolutely wonderful property, interiors were fabulous, location a little on the remote side, but we enjoyed that, very quiet . Walk to the pub…fabulous. Lots of walking & cycling routes which is exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately we inadvertently brought home a pepper grinder that wasn’t ours & we left a coat behind. If the owners have any of our details we would appreciate contact to arrange a collection & return of your grinder. J & D"
