Nobody to check me in. Terrible smell in lobby. Walked down hallway, not secure, nobody around. Unsightly disrepair. Called on desk phone, greasy dirty handset, no answer. I left, did not stay, did not feel safe. One of the worst I've seen,like a third world rent-a-room. Absolutely nasty.

Very clean and comfortable place to rest

I read several reviews that said hotel needs to be updated. It is outdated but very clean (cleaner then some upscale places I have stayed) and very comfortable beds! The walls are very thin so I used a fan to block out noise. Overall it provided me with a good nights rest, a nice warm shower, and a snack for breakfast :)

Don't stay there not clean

From check in to check out was bad took me 3 hours to check in as reservation didn't come through from expedia . Spiders in my room dirty and didn't even sleep under covers . Shower and bathroom yuck I didn't even bring in all my things and cloroxed what I touched . Can't believe the the price never stay there ever .

Room was fine, carpet needs replaced. Cost is too much, should have been about $70 instead of $104 but this is the only hotel around. Most breakfast food was gone by 8am and nobody around to address it. In the morning my room key wouldn't work so I needed a new key but there was a note at the front desk that they'd be gone for a while. After 20 minutes of sitting around in the lobby I was able to get back in my room and be on my way.

Only hotel in Wautoma. Not dirty but needs a major facelift in room. Remote control was missing from first room so I had to move to another room. I needed an iron and board--none in room. Woman at desk tried to be helpful. No complaints there.

Not a high end luxury but comfy and welcoming

My mother lives in Wild Rose, just 15 minutes north. I have tried all of the motels in Wild Rose and Wautoma. So far this is the best choice. It has comfortable beds. Nearby are restaurants, gas stations, and a shopko. It is not super luxury, but very comfy. Breakfast is ok, but then there is a restaurant very close. Lots of lakes in the area.

Just a good nite rest

Hi, Everything was good. Now the room had a refrigerator , where before when I was there it didn't. Did not use the pool so I can not rate that.

OK for short stay

We just needed a one night stay in the Waitoma area and there aren't many choices. The price was right. Check in was fast and the clerk very friendly. There were very few other guests. The room war very ruin down and the entire hotel needs renovation. Beds were soft and pillows too soft. Pool was out of commission. Breakfast was fine. Would not want to have a long stay there, but for our needs it was fine, safe and the price was right.
