"This is a great resort for a family or extended family stay-cation. With many pools, golf, a fishing pond, rec center for the kids, and daily activities, everyone can find something to do. Escondido is a quaint burb of San Diego with many cool breweries and wineries for the grownups. Would recommend to anyone with kids looking for a low key vacation of a week or less."

"The manager’s reception includes two free drinks, great snacks and a chance to relax after your drive. The staff there were local residents who recommended activities for everyone, from families with kids, people excited about local wineries, and everything else. After that, you can relax in the pool area and if you’re still hungry, they have an on-site restaurant, a Long Horn Steak House and a Black Angus just a few steps away. The morning breakfast is basically a fancy brunch. You can also grab fruit, yogurt, bread, peanut butter, jelly, and such to make a nice picnic lunch for later . We didn’t leave the property as often as we expected to, because it was so relaxing. If you’re looking for a family that friendly place, this is it. You’ll save a fortune in food, just bring popcorn because their movie choices available are great, and if you don’t enjoy what they have to offer, you can just screen casts try"

"I used to like this property on my previous stays. But now they don't seem to care much. When we checked in, we didn't feel as welcome We were told that since we booked with a 3rd party (Expedia) nothing could be change. They charged resort fee, but the pool is closed during the week. The fee only offers wifi and parking. No more late check out, now they charge $35 per hour if you need a little more time to get ready. The safe in the room doesn't work. I mentioned that we were celebrating my bday, and he complete ignored that. In the past I used to receive some discounts or points. Not any more. "

"The property is very loud because it is near the freeway. Also homeless people were sleeping in cars in the parking lot during the night on two separate occasions I had banging on my door. it was not constant. It was like somebody walking by and randomly knocking."
