They gave us the family suite so we wouldn’t have to bring our luggage upstairs. Hilary made the most perfect breakfast and it was so lovely to chat with her. 「Really enjoyed our stay. Welcome was courteous and helpful. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Service was great. Breakfast was the highlight! Enjoyed the Dorset dairy yoghurt. One very minor point no smoked salmon alternative to bacon with the eggs Benedict but mushroom was suggested instead and was equally delicious. Overall an excellent stay room was comfy, cosy and clean - thank you 🙏」

「The host, Justin, is an amazing one-man-band. Incredibly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The room I stayed in was lovely; clean, bright and warm. Each day my fridge was restocked with water and fresh milk. The breakfast was always fabulous, especially the poached eggs (perfect!). Plenty of parking (free) and beautiful countryside, though not far from all amenities (3 min drive). Pub within walking distance. I will definitely stay again and will recommend to visiting friends and family. 」

「We stayed in the room called 'The General' - A gorgeous room in the main building with a lovely four poster bed and a balcony. The room was great, it could just do with a little TLC on a few parts (Very minor). Great staff, lovely pub and wonderful food and drink.」

「We arrived around 5:00Pm, for a long weekend the wether was stormy. We struggled to find the place as it is in the middle of nowhere next to a farmhouse. The layout was good with ample space but there’s no shower gels or hand washing soap in bathrooms. Heating stopped working the next day. Tried contacting the Sykes office and unable to get through. Eventually managed to get through to someone who sent an engineer to fix it. Poor internet connection and satellite signal for sat navigation in...

「We booked the hotel through Expedia for a cycle event in Wincanton. The location was perfect. Our room was huge and had an external door allowing access to the exterior. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed the meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked too. All staff were pleasant and sociable to us. Would happily stay again.」
