"My friends and I rented this property for a long girls weekend to attend an event in the area. We liked the historical aspect of the property and Gary was an excellent host. His banana bread was amazing! We would definitely stay again. "
"The staff was so friendly and very accommodating with everything. The location was quaint and central to everything we wanted to do in the area. I loved the lodge vibe and outdoor area as well. The morning complimentary breakfast was perfect and offered a wide variety of choices. I would stay here again. Thank you!"

"The staff was wonderful. The free breakfast was good. The only minor issue was that the bathroom was a little small. I would definitely stay here again.

"Great, clean pool, clean rooms, no complaints. One thing to note: there is no elevator to the second floor! So if you have luggage or have walking difficulties or injuries , there’s no way to get on second floor, other than stairs. If hotel is fully booked you also may not have an option to switch to the first level, which is what we had to deal with. Staff helped us with luggage, but there’s no bellman, so that was challenging. Breakfast was also below average, but waffles were good. Need fruit and protein.."
"The hotel is modern but so warm and inviting. The beds are extremely comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and I truly appreciated being able to order a cappuccino as well. Perfect stop on our road trip through Vassar!"
