This a beautiful spot, conveniently located near Walker. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms and common area are cozy and beautifully decorated. Gary was a wonderful host.
I enjoyed the lovely accommodations and beautiful lake view! Learning about the hostels life and live of serving guests was great too! Breakfast was perfect, coffee always on, and that glass of wine in the evening hit the spot! Thanks for a great stay!
Great location to go see Itasca State Park, Big Bog, and Leech Lake Pow Wow Days. The breakfast was excellent. The owners are fantastic. I highly recommend this B&B over a hotel!
Our room overlooked the lake and it was beautiful! The sunrise was spectacular. Breakfast was great. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We got to meet the wonderful owners. We will visit again.
A lake cabin dream come true. Gary and Sandra were attentive hosts and very nice people. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, juice, muffins and a wonderful wild rice and sausage quiche. The decor and ambience were excellent, we love Up North cabin decor and were not disappointed. Everything looked new or almost new, very well cared for. There's a bear and moose motif (mostly bears) and you can look and look and still find new bears in every room each time you pass through. Our bedroom was spacious with many windows, a very comfortable king size bed, easy chairs and a nice table where we played cribbage. The room faced East toward the lake and we had wonderful sunrise views each day. The bathroom was also very large and nicely decorated. Gentle Loon calls at night and in the early morning. An eagle landed on shore during breakfast one morning. We enjoyed the common area playing some pool and finishing a puzzle one evening. We didn't use the boats or bikes on this visit, but all appeared to be in great shape. Definitely recommend this gem.
Sandra and Gary are delightful, the most amazing hosts and clearly love what they do. The property was spotless, my room was so clean and comfortable. I was traveling solo during my stay and felt very well cared for here. Breakfast was delicious, too!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We loved the beautiful area and lake view, clean room, delicious breakfast, quiet atmosphere, and all the nice extras that they made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of. The host was so helpful and had such a wonderful way of making us feel right at home. We hope we can go back someday! It was a blessing!
Gary was a fabulous host! Breakfast was delicious and he served it an hour before scheduled because we had to leave when the time was originally scheduled. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the short while we were there.
Host was very friendly, gracious, took time to know guests and provided tour. Menus for local restraunts were available. The large living room provided billiards, a game table, and a large selection of dvd movies. Electric fireplace in each room provided a warm, comfortable and relaxing environment. Candy was placed on our pillows. Courtsey glass of wine was available. Room was very neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable with 2 pillow options and had electric blankets (had snow on the ground during our stay).Breakfast was very enjoyable with great visiting time with other guests and the host couple.
What a lovely stay here, I definitely recommend. The hosts are so kind and friendly and hospitable. They really thought of everything for a romantic stay. My husband and I thought the tandem bike we could borrow was romantic. We enjoyed watching the sunset and sunrise on the porch.
Excellent stay here! The hosts are so welcoming and delightful. Our room was perfect. The breakfast was spectacular, and so fun to share it with the other guests and our hosts.
