April 2016 St. Martin's Rotunda, Vyšehrad, Prague, Czech republic The rotunda dedicated to St. Martin is the oldest building on the Vyšehrad hill in Prague. It is a typical medieval parochial church built in 1061-1092 during the reign of King Vratislav II. It has a diameter of 6,5 meters and the typical apsis on the east side. It was almost destroyed during the Prussian siege in 1757, but it has survived and was reconstructed in Neoroman style in 1878-80.
