"The receptionist was very welcoming and gave us useful information about walks and transport. The room was compact, and the bathroom a little dated but city was all clean. Even in summer air conditioning was not needed. Free parking and easy walk to restaurants and the train station is 2 minutes walk away. From there you can travel using a day ticket for €7 to any of the stops the High Tatras network. Breakfast was fresh, but quite a lot of meat and egg dishes. Only issue was that we requested the room cleaning using the door hanger but very little was done. Wet bathmat was not changed, cups were not cleaned, surfaces were not cleared and beds were unmade. This was a little disappointing in an otherwise good stay."

"A very nice place to stay in the heart of town, I really enjoyed my stay here and had the opportunity to use the sauna room well worth it. Unfortunately, my door lock broke on my first night but the stuff were so good and efficient in rectifying the issue with a new room while they organized a locksmith to come the next day. I really appreciate the effort to fix the issue. I would 100% stay here again."

"We stayed for 1 night and our stay was lovely. The hotel is located only a few steps away from the gondola which can take you to Skalnaté pleso or even Lomnický štít. The staff were extremely helpful. We arrived early and they managed to check us in straight away. The spa facilities were fantastic with lovely views. Food at the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is designed to a high standard with beautiful touches. We wished we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope we will stay again in future"

"We visited Hotel Bania on a recommendation from a friend and it was utterly sensational. The hotel is comfortable, with a natural flow and guest journey. There are shared small kitchens on each floor which are so convenient for preparing a snack; it’s a microwave and sink but really useful to have available! The beds are comfortable, however we found the pillows to be quite soft. The hotel is quiet with great sleep quality. The water pressure is excellent and a nice shower space. WiFi is excellent with fast streaming available. There is currently construction taking place on the new wing at the front of the hotel; but asides from cranes viewable from the pools, it’s a necessary evil for their continued growth and expansion. Therma Bania is amazing. Swim up bars; various spaces and utterly gorgeous. It is really hard to get a lounger at weekends and I don’t know how they can manage it, but it’s quite a stressful experience when you just want to find somewhere to leave your stuff so you can get in the pool. The restaurant food was quality and tasty, however it would be good to see more options for vegans and vegetarians as this was very limited. The photos don’t do this hotel justice; I nearly booked another hotel in Zakopane as I thought the rooms look dated, they’re not, it’s just bad promotional material! We will certainly be returning and have already recommended to a number of friends."
