Very comfortable- we had a small apartment and it was a great space to relax in at the end of the day. Everything in Tatranska Lomnica was walkable from the hotel.

A comfy stay in a cozy room

Almost everything in the room is with wood furniture. It’s clean, quiet and comfortable with beautiful Mountain View. It’s also close to the train station with 10 minutes walk. The staff is very helpful and speak good English. The bathroom is too dark.

Accomodation very nice.

Dinner at the restaurant was really great. Plsen draft beer on tap. Breakfast was sub standard. Lunch only after 2pm.

Stayed there with 2 kids, very nice apartment with main building located close to cable car to Lomnicky štít. Apartment clean and comfy 5*, definitely come back in winter

Don't expect much by way of spa facilities.

I am unhappy. While Stenley & Barbara on your front desk staff have been beyond kind most helpful and perfect examples of excellent hospitality. We booked this property specifically because it promised a jacuzzi on site. Promotional photos of the property show all sorts of spa facilities. I have a knee injury and at the end of each day really needed to relieve some of the pain in the hot water of a bath or jacuzzi. Upon arrival. Shower only in the room and NO JACUZZI - broken. Ok bad luck. Morning of day 2, I asked about the jacuzzi. Still not fixed OK. Bad luck. Morning of day 3 I asked about the jacuzzi. Still broken... At this point is should be clear to staff I'm quite keen to use the jacuzzi. By the time we got back from sightseeing we discover the jacuzzi is fixed and every other guest in the hotel seems to have notification & ability to book time in the jacuzzi. When I inquired upon our return already there are no spots left booked solid for the entire evening. Now I must sit and watch happy guests in their robes march past my window on the way to/from a relaxing time in the jacuzzi. A hotel of this size and you inly have one jacuzzi? That's absurd. All of those lovely spa photos in the promotional photos? That's all at the property next door and we have to pay extra to use those facilities. That's misleading. We are leaving very early tomorrow morning. I'm quite unhappy about this and will be certain to leave a review to this effect on trip advisor and Hotels.com.

Not the best welcome to Slovakia, asked for bulbs to be changed in bathroom as it was dark, it never happened, room not cleaned although we left the sign on the door. Just a bit sloppy.

Great stay at Hotel Kukucka

Stayed with my 2 kids, very spacious apartment, lovely view mountain, great location- 5 minutes to ski resort. Lots of restaurant nearby- walking distance. Breakfast was delicious, mainly typical Slovakian type of food served. I'd welcome more choices of continental food for breakfast if you staying for longer period. Also more family tables were needed. Very polite and friendly staff.

Prvy ale aj posledny krat. Nemali sme objednanu polpenziu tak sme sa s priatelom rozhodli skusit a la cart dnes vecer. Plastove jedalne listky uz nevestili nic dobre. Vyber vina by the glass velmi slaby, pivo len jednej komercnej znacky ale dobre. Ako predjedlo sme si objednali vyvar a grilovany ostiepok. Par co sedel vedla nas sa stazoval na uplne surovu zeleninu v polievke tak som slecnu casnicku poprosila aby zelenina nebola surova. Prikivla. Polievku doniesla za par minut, zelenina sanozrejme surova. Ospravedlnovala sa ze je v prevadzke prvy den, este som ju aj lutovala, chudiatko makala teda naozaj, behala od jednemu stolu ku druhemu, vselico poplietla, ale ved ok vcetci sme raz zacinali... Prisiel ostiepok. Grilovany sice bol, ale vo vnutri uplne studeny. Naokolo vsade zmatok, radsej som sa vybrala von na cigaretu, a ako sa vraciam do restauracie pocujem ako slecna casnicka prvy den v praci rozhadzuje rukami a krici snad na pol restauracie ze co ona ma do p... robit s tym syrom ked ten vy..... stol stale p....Tak sme sa aj hned pobrali prec. Slecna by si zasluzila okamzitu vypoved a hotel teda ma co robit aby dosiahol vobec 3 hviezdicky. Wellness malicke, a este aj to polofunkcne...vírivka vo welness špinavá, čierne mastné škvrny všade. Raňajky posledný deň nášho pobytu bola čerešnička na torte. Nebolo tam absolutne nič.... :-( Absolutne nehodne danej kategorie. Velke sklamanie a velka hanba TMR.

Výhled na Lomnický štít.

Hotel je nedaleko od železniční stanice a silnice s krásným výhledem na Lomnický štít. Měli jsme objednané snídaně a večeře. Snídaně byla bufetovým způsobem. Výběr jídla byl široký od párků, šunky, přes sýry až k jogurtu. Večeře jsme si mohli vybrat ze 3 jídel. V apartmánu jsme ocenili oddělení toalety a koupelny. Byly to dvě samostatné místnosti. V letních vedrech dobře padl i chlazený nápoj, který jsme vytáhli z lednice. Kuchyně byla dostatečně vybavená.

Lovely apartment in a superb location

All is great apart from the fact that there was some miscommunication between the hotel and expedia about our payment and the hotel attempted to charge me for the stay while I have paid (long before that) for our stay. It was stressful as the hotel demanded my bank statement proving I have actually paid - all at the check out while the taxi for the airport was waiting. No one asked me to bring any payment proof etc. Also their English is missing, really surprising for a 4* reception staff
