Ferry trip to Limone was relaxing and worth it for the picturesque harbour. Lots of steps up to the hotel from the lake which were tough in the heat. We used buses but would be worth hiring a car if we visit again."

"Villa Florida is an absolute gem. The property is stunning, with beautiful purple bougainvillea cascading throughout the grounds and breathtaking views over the lake. Every morning, we looked forward to an absolutely delicious breakfast, enjoyed with those gorgeous lake views—it was one of the highlights of our stay. The staff, who I believe are a family-run team, were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. Everything was impeccably clean, and the property is spacious, elegant, and beautifully maintained. We stayed in a suite, which was gorgeous, comfortable, and had plenty of room to relax. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay with exceptional hospitality and unforgettable scenery, I couldn’t recommend Villa Florida more highly. We would happily return."
