We were able to book a room at this Sheraton for the day we arrived, so we were very fortunate. The facility was in excellent condition and in a good location. It was a little pricey, but was worth it for the service and accomodations. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The property is a bit dated but it is well maintained with spacious rooms and beautiful views. We were warned a couple of times to be extra cautious if we walked off the property. That didn't give us a lot of confidence especially after having just been robbed in Santiago. The staff at the Sheraton was great. We had two rooms, both upgraded and assigned next to each other without us having to ask. Little thoughtful perks like that are truly appreciated. We usually try to avoid Marriott properties, but this stay was lovely.

This is surely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The room was spacious, the bed & linens very comfortable, and the staff was always excellent. It is safe and the location very convenient. The ocean view from our terrace was breathtaking.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff on all levels was amazing, particularly Patriccio. The staff is beyond helpful on every level. The rooms are lovely and the location and views amazing. The food and breakfast were great. The gym is wonderful with ocean views. Everyone speaks good English.

Was relaxing walking distance to downtown Viña Del Mar, restaurants were great and not overly expensive. Outdoor pool had great setting but was a bit cold, indoor pool was warm and looked at outdoor pool. Staff was helpful and friendly, even if not all spoke English. I would definitely recommend the hotel, my kids loved it too. Olga did great job cleaning room and left us extra coffee and water. I drove here and valet parking was easy.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, with pleasant and well-maintained facilities. However, the service from the staff left much to be desired. From the moment I arrived with several suitcases, no one offered to help me, and the attitude at the front desk was quite cold. Throughout my stay, I felt a distant and unwelcoming treatment, which was very disappointing. I hadn’t been back to my country in many years, and it was really sad to return and feel so poorly received. I believe customer service should be a priority, especially in a hotel of this category.

The hotel infrastructure, location and rooms are excellent. The staff is very friendly but a bit cumbersome to deal with. The only weak points are in the bathroom, as the shower and faucet controls are rather worn and rusty. They should be renewed.

It has a great location right on the see shore. The weather is not good with 17°C on average. The sun comes out only after 16:00 to 16:30 hours in the afternoon. The main "atrium" windows that cover part of the hotel and can be seen especially from the elevator is covered by bird excrements. The valet service closes at 22:00 hours, so every time you go with your car to a restaurant at night, you have to park your own car. The parking is a quite a walk from the hotel with my 74 years.

The location of the Sheraton was terrific except for the fact that a marathon was being run on the access road to the hotel on the day we had to leave for Valparaiso and did not know this ahead of time. We had to allow extra time as all the traffic was rerouted away from the main throughfare, had to take a golf cart then drag our luggage across the race route to get to the taxi. The hotel is looking its age, needs a revamp to get rid of old battered fruniture and replace carpets Yhe indoor pool and spa was really nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly

Amazing service with a view

For our trip to Viña del Mar we had originally booked a timeshare condo, however when we arrived we found someone else (the owner) in the unit. With no place to stay we turned to the Miramar, which turned out to be a wonderful choice! At check-in I told the desk person, José, our sad story, and also that it was my wife's birthday tomorrow and that we had journeyed from the US. He went out of his way to accommodate us with a great room. He also gave us complimentary drink tickets and had a bottle of wine sent to the room. The next morning they sent up a complimentary breakfast that included a slice of birthday cake with a candle! This is really service above and beyond. We are very impressed with the Miramar! Oh, and it is a great hotel, perched on the rocks above the ocean, with views from Valparaíso to Reñaca. The bar and deck above the pool deck is a fine place to spend the afternoon enjoying the sun. The property is well maintained and our room was large and comfortable.
