Few amenities, staff didn’t go beyond the usual routine. Breakfast was subpar. I walked next door to get a better coffee. Air conditioning was excellent. The noise from the street was loud. Need better windows. The proximity to the museum was a nice surprise.

Our stay at La Venta Inn was perfect. The hotel is clean and safe, the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and parking is available. The hotel also has a restaurant on site. We recommend La Venta Inn and will stay there the next time we are in Villahermosa.

Price was good on hotels.com but stay was not good

Check-in took nearly 45 mins, the room was ok but the bathroom power was non functional. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was so-so. Some reviews say it was American style but it was mostly Mexicana.

The hotel and room were very clean and the shower was good, plenty of water pressure. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was really good, buffet with a lot of choices including Chilaquiles, eggs, beans, fruit and yogurt, cereal, and toast. Plus, a lot of beverages to choose from. The downsides are if you get a room on the highway side, highway noise is loud and constant. It wasn't a problem for us, but if you are a light sleeper, that could be an issue. The bed was too firm for my liking and the pillows weren't great.
