「Unfortunately I had eaten enroute so did not dine in the nicely furnished olde style pub which took orders until 20.30 but, despite my 20.20 arrival I was given opportunity to eat. The bed was very comfortable. An armchairxwas provided in addition to a chair.」

「Lovely accommodation attached to a pub. Pub served a good selection of drinks and a decent menu for main meals or light bites. Breakfast was lovely, again with a decent selection. Staff were all lovely. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. 」

Fairly quiet room/location, despite the accommodation being next to a dual carriageway. Easy access for getting a minicab to family in another town, as well as walking distance to local shops and amenities. A parking space available next to the property was also handy for us, as we drove up from London. Would book again if planning to...

「Excellent pub with rooms, on quite a busy road. Delcious evening meal and breakfast. My room had air con but not all do. £5 taxi from train station. 」

「Nice Clean room staff very nice and friendly welcoming only things which could be improved on are the main carpets in corridors look a little tired but room was spotless and faultless. spot on and excellent value for money and no tea and coffee in room but they have made it free from bar downstairs. Id stay again without hesitation breakfast under £10 very good too 」

「Just a stop on journey.. hotel needs a better road sign and directions. Car park is charged but adding reg is good. Beer is expensive. Customer services are good. Breakfast is good, always replaced asap. Shower room is small. Could do with being bigger. 」
