「The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings.」

「If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.」

「Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly.」

「The first day our breakfast was great. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits and omelette. Since the first day’s breakfast was so very good I was looking forward to eating again, however that ended up being a disappointment. There were no scrambled eggs and no bacon, only omelette’s that appeared to be left over from the previous day.
