「If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.」

「Vicksburg is all about the Civil War and you couldn’t ask for a better place than the Inn at Cedar Grove. Meals were excellent and the Staff were attentive. The Inn could use further renovations but not a huge issue given its age and use. Lots of history within the Inn itself. 」

「Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly.」

「The hotel is an older property, but has been very well maintained. The staff were ultra-friendly!! The room was nice and airy, and (surprisingly) really bright. Most hotels don’t have enough lighting in their rooms, but this room was awesome!! The room was very clean, the beds were really comfortable. The pillows were lumpy, but overall everything in the room was great. The breakfast was too-notch. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in town.」

「Staff looks lazy and not very helpful. No soap, shampoo or blow dryer in the room. Its just a room. 」

「This place is terrible. The room was dirty. It smelled like musty, mildew, and mold. There was mold or mildew on the closet door. The lock on the front door was loose. Screws are falling out. The floors were dirty like they’ve never been vacuumed. The lamps were broken, rusted, and falling apart. Everything about this place was disgusting. Do not go here. We unfortunately had to stay. It was late at night. I have a toddler and there were no other options. We slept on top of the covers and left...

「The first day our breakfast was great. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits and omelette. Since the first day’s breakfast was so very good I was looking forward to eating again, however that ended up being a disappointment. There were no scrambled eggs and no bacon, only omelette’s that appeared to be left over from the previous day. 「Coffee hit the spot.very good Starbucks coffee. Carpenter bees swarming in the back terrace not allowing us to sit outside and enjoy the balcony. Bed not very comfortable.」
