"This place is magical. While the main building (with an excellent restaurant) is stately and unique, we stayed at The Brambles in a redwood grove. Being from Santa Cruz, we’re used to redwoods, but these trees—especially the Pachyderm—are amazing. The combination of Steam Punk and farmhouse decor is whimsical and delightful. The Front Door rooms are spacious and lovely. Our only tiny suggestion is that the shower heads are cleaned of hard water build up frequently. The shower flow came...

"Was just there for a little getaway. The old west theme was nice. The hotel was in excellent shape. Looks like it had be resently remodeled. Large courtyard with tables and chairs to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I will definitely be coming back. "

" Very nice rooms. Spacious and upscale. Pretty much a self-service hotel though. No front desk and limited services. There is a coffee shop and pizza restaurant in the building and other places nearby. We ate breakfast at The Bluebird Cafe but next time I’d go for the coffee shop as they offer handmade breakfast sandwiches that look really good. "

"The room was small but fine. We were not on the lakeside of the hotel which would have been much better than facing the parking lot. The hotel would be super fun in the summer months. We’ll stay here again and next time get to swim."
