The rooms are very clean and well insulated. Beds were comfortable. This is an older resort showing its wear but they have kept the rooms modern and nice. The manager was a hoot. We had a great time with her (Barbara). Would definitely stay there again

I stayed at Blue Lakes Lodge for 3 nights. The staff member was helpful upon check-in. The lake was beautiful and scenic. The room was relatively clean; however, the beds were not the most comfortable and bedding had some noticeable stains. Additionally, the shower and sink in the bathroom were slow to drain.

The setting on the lake were incredible, the rooms are pretty tired, and could use updating. They front desk lady gave me an upgrade which was very good. The front desk lady also charged me $4 extra because she said expedia doesnt pay their fees, not sure what that was all about but have never run into that issue before.

Room was dirty. Gray hair and possible dog hair everywhere even in the bed, moldy dirty shower, towel had red gunk on it, stained pillow cases, room blinds don’t work, I could even see outside through the gaps in the sides of the air conditioner. The walls are very thin here and if you stay on the road side of the motel, be prepared for an extremely dark room with very dim room lights. Could barely see a darned thing inside..

Our family including our dog were headed north and decided to stay at the lodge because our 6 year old loves fishing. It was safe, clean, accommodating, pet friendly and the fishing dock is located directly in front of the hotel room so my son could fish with his dad while I relaxed on the porch with coffee. It was a perfect choice.

Loved visiting the Lodge at Blue Lakes! 💙 Only thing missing was gas for the fire pit and the ice machine was broken. Otherwise, it was so peaceful and enjoyable! Fabulous swimming spot!
