"The guest relations check in personnel were extremely helpful in accepting our luggage very early and expediting the availability of our room plus giving us recommendations on places to eat and sights to see. The staff were exceptional. The room was ample and well appointed, but please be aware there is no air conditioning. However, a fan is provided. In addition, the staff arranged a taxi for us to travel to the bus terminal and made it a point to advise that coffee and breakfast items were available to take away. Furthermore, the hotel is in the hub of the city which makes it easy to navigate and walk to several major sites. Overall, it was an outstanding experience!"

"Location very convenient to old harbor end of Reykjavik, and within walking distance of other big sights. Nice neighborhood for walking around in. Hotel staff very friendly. Convenient restaurant and bar on premises. Room very compact with somewhat inconvenient spaces to put luggage etc. Nice shower with very nice high end Icelandic herb shampoo, conditioner and soap. A real treat."

"Excellent staff. Helped us figure out parking. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Excellent manager. We stayed in a triple room and it was very roomy. Beds comfortable. Breakfast buffet was the best we had during our week in Iceland. Bartender exceptional. Libby is very nice-we walked to the grocery store our last night and had a picnic in the lobby couches/tables because we stayed so long at sky Lagoon and were too tired to go out for dinner—grocery store is about a 5 minute walk."
