"Our room was not available on arrival. I was initially stressed, but the front desk was very polite and helpful. He gave us a better upgrade for our troubles. The pool was closed for maintenance which seems to happen a lot at Marshfield hotels, so it wasnt surprising. All staff was fantastic to us. The property is a little dated in some areas but clean and overall efficient on our visit. The rooms have very large TV's which look fantastic. "My granddaughters and I were in Wisconsin Rapids for a gymnastics competition. We came up the day before. The girls and I had a wonderful time swimming in the hotel pool, it was nice and warm. The owner was very nice and the beds were very comfortable."

"They cancelled on us less than 24 hours before our arrival because they “forgot” to tell us they are under construction. We are a family of 6 and they left us completely starting from scratch without any resources or help. Because they cancelled their entire reservations the day before, we were only able to find one room at one hotel in the entire city that was literally twice the cost on a last minute reservation. The Rodeway in staff member was rude and sarcastic, they never returned my call...
