The Good:
The apartment itself is beautiful, exceptionally spacious, and fully equipped with everything you need for a multi-day stay. The central location is fantastic, allowing you to easily walk everywhere.
What Needs Improvement:
- Air Conditioning: While the unit does have AC, it unfortunately struggles to keep up when it is very hot outside. Especially the primary bedroom.
- Communication: Interacting with the host was frustrating. I sent several messages through Expedia prior to arrival that were completely ignored. They only finally replied when I inquired about parking—and still neglected to answer my initial question. During our stay, there was zero follow-up to see how we were doing; their only outreach was a reminder to check out on time.
- Check-in & Keys: Check-in requires waiting on the street for someone to meet you. Furthermore, we were only provided with one key. For a family of four needing to come and go at different times, this was highly inconvenient.
- Misleading Parking: The Expedia listing advertises included parking, which is false advertising. Parking actually costs €35 per night for an off-site valet/shuttle service, meaning you cannot access or use your car during your stay.
Overall:
The apartment’s generous space and prime location make it worth the cost, but the host company needs to improve their communication and listing accuracy to ensure a smoother experience for future guests.
