Location was great, and breakfast was fantastic. I had a room facing the street which was a little noisy due to people always at the McDonald’s next door. The bed didn’t have a doona it was literally just a thin sheet, perhaps this is only during the summer season? The room was however clean and spacious.

I stayed at the apartments over by the river. It was a fabulous location to all the shopping, Guliette‘s balcony and historic piazza’s. There is a market two minute walk to get water and groceries. There is a wonderful breakfast place and coffee that’s three minutes away called Postino Caffe. The staff gave unbelievable service whatever you needed a taxi or directions. I had lost my keys to the lock on my suitcase, and the young man got it off very quickly. I was so happy!! If you stay in thé appartements be sure to bring soap & shampoo

Disliked: Cleanliness
Upon arrival the hotel parking garage was full acc to the front desk. I wish I would have known I needed to reserve a spot ahead. Second, my husband left me with all of the luggage to go to our room. No one offered to help me with luggage. I struggled to the 3rd floor where I was told my room was. Only to find stairs to go up to my room. The struggle carrying the luggage was almost comical. Then, I get into a dirty room. Bed unmade, dirty, dirty towels inside the toilet, towels draped on the shower. I went down to front desk to show pics to her saying it was not cleaned, showed her pics to prove it. She quickly apologized and moved us to another room. I said well I struggled to get the luggage up the stairs but now I’ll wait for my husband to help with the luggage. Once we got the new room it was fine. Shower was tiny and had mold but everything else seemed to be fine. Rough start. Stay was okay.

Pros: breakfast had gluten free options, Clean room, good location, good value for money. Cons: sound proofing could be improved. We were in a front room, which overlooked a noisy macdonalds. We didn't ask to swap rooms as were only there for 2 nights, with hindsight would have been a good idea to at least have asked to swap.
