Top Vaccarolo Hotel Reviews

Grand Hotel Terme Sirmione

Grand Hotel Terme Sirmione

10/10 Excellent
"Three night stay was among our favorite destinations! The property sits adjacent to the castle and the old city. Thermal pool and spa were fantastic! Breakfast was buffet with additional made to order eggs, overlooking the lake. Amazing! The short vacation was completely walkable except for wine tasting experiences. 4 km is 15 minutes so adjust your expectations appropriately. Costs to and from are typically €30 booked privately with hotel staff. We made the unfortunate choice to wait until Sunday morning to book a Sunday morning taxi to the train station. 12 km was €57. I would recommend bringing your own vehicle if at all possible given the extraordinary transport fees. In terms of the hotel and spa, all were exceptional. 5 star service and experience. The hotel, perhaps, could devise an explanation at check-in of transportation issues as they came up over and over during our stay. The staff were, however, patient and helpful. All positives and I highly recommend for a 2-3 night stay. We hope to one day return!"
