「I have not been to many properties in Matheran, but I would say this is an ideal property for a fun vacation it is located over from the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like you’re in the quiet hills cottage. The property is old, but very well preserved and staff is very courteous and very helpful. The entrance area and the lift could be improved, as they did not reflect the quality of the rooms. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and I would recommend this hotel, including for women travelers. 」

The worst thing is they gave my checked in suitcase to another guest and we are still trying to recover it. They didn’t check the claim check which is completely unacceptable.」
